Learning Japanese - Day 34 & 35

Forgot to post yesterday for some reason! Anway, yesterday I was mostly focussing on remembering some Kanji and reviewing what I'd already learned. I was quite proud to be able to write with readings 53 Kanji! I know I know a few more than that but they were the ones that came to my mind at the time.

Later on yesterday evening I plugged in my new PS TV and played some project Diva on the big screen. I stopped after each song to try and read the cut scenes. I think i'm still a long way off being able to read something like that as I had to stop every few words to look them up!

So, today (13th July) I had my next lesson.

Today we looked through some of my teachers textbooks and notes from his lessons. I read some sentences where I could and asked for help when there was some things I didn't understand. I'm still really slow at reading and there's usually a few words I don't understand at all but i'm slowly getting there!

A few things to remember:

きました　ー　Came (Came from)

から　ー From

行って　ー To go

いきます　ー To go (polite form)

少し　ー A little

暑い　ー Hot

きむい　ー Cold

I also got the chance to try out a Japanese brush to draw some kanji and looked up some kanji in a dictionary too!
